NEW YORK, USA - AT&T and Samsung jointly announced four 4G LTE Android devices, including the new Galaxy Tab 2 and three smartphones, namely the Galaxy Express, Galaxy Rugby Pro and Galaxy Note II; and with Sony, the carrier launched the Xperia TL.
The Samsung Galaxy Express combines Android 4.0 ICS with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. It features a 5MP rear camera, a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus screen and a 2000mAh battery.
The Samsung Rugby Pro meets military standards, being waterproof, dustproof and shock-resistant. It includes a 5MP rear camera with 720p HD video, a 4-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, full-device encryption and Enhanced Push-to-Talk.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 has a 10.1-inch display and a horde of features, such as Smart Remote, Media Hub and AllShare Play.
AT&T also announced the Sony Xperia TL, the manufacturer's latest smartphone, with one-touch NFC sharing, a 13MP camera with HD recording, and quick-launch features. Its 4.6-inch HD display is powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine for clear images, while it also offers connectivity to a regular TV screen via MHL or DLNA. Media apps like Walkman, Movies and Album will also be available on the new Xperia TL.
