The AT&T model of the LG G Flex will start getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update today. The update will be 686MB in size and is likely to have reached most devices already. As with any KitKat update, this is quite significant for the smartphone and will introduce quite a few changes.
Here’s the complete changelog:
Android 4.4 OS upgrade
New full-screen mode
Restyled status and navigation bars
Battery performance improvements
Enhanced processing speed
LG has improved some key elements of the UI while blending it with the Android 4.4 specific changes quite well. If you don’t see the update notification yet, try pulling it manually by heading over to Settings – General – About – Software Update – Update.
