Now that the Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T has been on the market for one full day, it’s time for the great deals to start coming in. And the first third party retailer to offer the smartphone for less than AT&T is Amazon
You can now get a Lumia 900 (in both cyan and black) for just $19.99 if you’re already with AT&T and want to upgrade, or $49.99 if you’re a new customer. Even that price is still half of what AT&T currently charges for the device, so you’re in for some neat savings if you choose to go the Amazon way.
Of course, you’ll still need to sign a two-year contract with AT&T, but that’s just how things are in the US of A. What’s very intriguing about this offer is that the upgrade price is lower than the one for new contracts. This almost never happens, with the usual situation being the exact opposite – with more expensive upgrades. Will this work as an incentive for existing AT&T customers to go Nokia? We’ll have to wait and see.
