Samsung’s 4G LTE Windows Phone will be available May 20 for $49.99
AT&T and Samsung officially announced the latest Windows Phone on Monday. Samsung’s new smartphone is LTE-enabled and includes a 5-megapixel camera with 720p video capture, a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, front-facing VGA cam for video calling and LTE support. If you’re looking for something thinner, you may want to skip this one, as it measures in at a hefty 10.98mm thick. On top of that, it will only be available in white, to start.
On the other hand, at a price tag of $49.99 (with a contract, of course), you don’t really have much to lose. While it's the first 4G LTE Windows Phone for Samsung, the Focus 2 will mark AT&T’s third LTE-compatible Windows Phone, following Nokia’s popular Lumia 900 and HTC’s Titan II. The device will be available for purchase beginning May 20.
