After much speculation spanning the last few months, AT&T has finally decided to let us know just when it will release its two newest Windows Phones, the Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan II. And they’ll both be out on the same day: April 8. Which also happens to be Easter Sunday, by the way. So here, AT&T’s just given you a couple of neat gift ideas.
The Nokia Lumia 900 will be priced at $99.99 with a new two-year contract and data plan, which is in line with all the rumors we’ve been hearing since CES, when it was announced. That price point makes it a very compelling offering, since it’s at least $100 cheaper than its competitors.
Speaking of which, HTC’s Titan II, that company’s latest flaghsip Windows Phone device, will cost $199.99 – again with a new two-year contract and data plan. The Titan’s main selling points are undoubtedly the huge screen and the 16 MP camera, while the Lumia’s strengths are in its design and more pocketable form factor (at least compared to the Titan II, since a 4.3-inch smartphone isn’t small by any measure).
Pre-orders for the Nokia Lumia 900 will start on March 30, and it will be first available in cyan and black. A white version will be out on April 22.
