An unannounced Samsung handset has been found in the wild bearing a form factor that closely resembles the Epic 4G (Sprint) and Verizon's brand new Stratosphere. According to Boy Genius Report, this phone will carry the name of Samsung Captivate Glyde in a nod to their Galaxy S series phone of 2010. Hardware and software is still sketchy at this point but we fully expect Android 2.3 (or later) and something in the ballpark of 1GHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, and the other standard Android goodies.
Assuming we're right on the specs, pricing could (or should) come in around $149.99 with a qualified two-year service agreement. Given that this is not expected to launch until 2012 we anticipate that this may be one of AT&T's first smartphones to feature support for their new 4G LTE network, and not that fauxG HSPA+ stuff.
