Announced by AT&T at the same time with the HTC Titan and Samsung Focus Flash, the Samsung Focus S will become one of the carrier’s first Windows Phone Mango handsets. Unfortunately, AT&T has now showed any official photos of the Focus S.
But we’ve just spotted it in a live image, with AT&T’s logo above the display, and looking very thin (photo found at PocketNow):
Since it resembles the Android-powered Galaxy S II in both looks and features, the Focus S will likely be Samsung’s flagship Mango device. It will come with a 4.3 inch WVGA Super AMOLED Plus display, 1.4GHz processor (possibly dual-core), 8MP rear camera, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. AT&T said the handset would be released in the fourth quarter of the year.
Samsung will probably announce a version of the Focus S for non-US markets, too. It remains to be seen when this will happen, and what name that version will have.
