AT&T will launch Samsung’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 soon. We’ve known this since May, but now an AT&T-branded Mega 6.3 has finally appeared in press photos (thanks to @evleaks).
The handset (model number SGH-i527) looks pretty much like its international version. It should have similar features, including: Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, LTE and HSDPA connectivity, a 6.3 inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels (233 ppi), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, dual-core 1.7GHz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.9MP front-facing camera, 8GB or 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support (up to 64GB), and a 3,200 mAh battery.
The release date of AT&T’s Galaxy Mega 6.3 is not known at the moment, but we’ll keep you posted.
In related news, while waiting to launch the new LG G2, AT&T is seemingly readying the release of a white LG Optimus G Pro. Like the Samsung Galaxy Mega SGH-i527, the white Optimus G Pro was unveiled by @evleaks.
The black G Pro currently costs $99.99 at AT&T (on contract). I assume the white version won’t have a different price. Unfortunately, there’s no word on when the new color option will be available. In any case, it will likely happen before the G2 goes on sale – so we could see it in stores starting the next several weeks.
