Attack on Titan is a very popular anime these days, and fans are really anxious to sink their teeth into anything related to the hit show. Manga, DVDs, you name it. It’s been a while since an anime has received this much attention, so naturally, there has to be a video game we are missing out on somewhere. Why are there so many un-localized games these days?
Like the folk hero that it is, though, video game publisher Atlus has swooped in to deliver the long-delayed Attack on Titan Nintendo 3DS game to eager Western audiences. A rating from the Australian Classification Board points towards Atlus as the company who will be bringing this to Aussie shores, and then possibly our own in the United States.
Pockett.net originally found the rating, and it has been slapped with Australia’s 15+ level, not too much of a surprise for fans of the violent show. Interestingly enough, the game’s publisher is listed as Atlus USA despite the classification being Australian. Looks like we could be getting our own rating soon as well.
The Western release also does not have a subtitle, so it remains to be seen if it is the original release or the expanded version, Attack on Titan: The Last Wings of Humanity Chain. As is often the case with Japanese games heading to America, we’ll probably get the extra stuff.
This is just a rumor for now, so stay tuned for more. We’ll wait and see if Atlus has any official news to confirm, and as always, we’ll let you know once it does.
