The new-generation Assassin's Creed Unity launches for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC at Australian retailers this week. The game marks the first time the Assassin's Creed series makes its debut exclusively on the current generation of consoles.
Set in Paris during the French Revolution, players take up arms as Arno Dorian the son of an Assassin. Following the death of his father, Arno is adopted by a family with strong ties to the Templar Order. According to Ubisoft, the core game will offer "dozens of hours" of gameplay.
Also out this week is Sony's PlayStation TV, a micro-console which enables select PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Portable games to be played on an HD television. The device also enables remote play via the PS4 on a separate TV. More details on games out in Australian retailers this week can be found below.
