The release of the #Huawei #Nexus6 is all but official now with leaks giving us an excellent idea of what to expect from the smartphone. A new benchmark listing on GeekBench has now confirmed some of the hardware specifications packing underneath the new Nexus flagship and it’s quite impressive.
The handset is codenamed the angler here and is shown to be running the Snapdragon 810 SoC underneath along with 3GB of RAM and Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The RAM mentioned here has taken us by surprise as rumors had pegged the device to be sporting at least 4GB of RAM underneath. But it appears as if Huawei and Google had a change of heart and decided to stick with a 3GB unit instead.
The device managed to score 1156 in the single core test and 3641 in the multi core test, which is quite decent even for a flagship offering such as this. The Huawei and the LG Nexus smartphones are expected to be unveiled on the 29th of September, with pre-orders supposedly going live on October 13.
