Over a year since its announcement and the Nokia Lumia 1520 still has the best battery endurance life according to GSM Arena’s tests at 107 hours (3400mAh, 6″ screen, WP8.1).
This beats the likes of the 6.1″ Huawei Ascend Mate2 4G which has a whopping 4050 mAh battery! Almost as much as the 7.9″ 4300mAh Jolla Tablet.
In normal usage, battery life is one of the things I love best about the 1520 as I can use it as much as I like and not worry about battery life. I’ve got a battery app that tells me when I’ve got “low battery – 8 hours left”. 8 hours was a full day on some other phones. The only times I get annoyed with battery life is when I notice by mid morning my battery life is already on 30% but then I realise I haven’t actually charged the phone in a couple of days.
However, that Ascend Mate 2 does sit closely behind the 1520 and has a blindingly with a lot of screen time (16h for web browsing and 18 hours video playback). 1520 is between 12-13 hours for both web/video playback.
