We’ll then look at keyboards that are built specifically for the iPad mini 4.

If a single purpose Bluetooth keyboard is a good start, but not entirely suiting to your inventory of tablets, phones and computers, this Logitech keyboard may be the answer. It keeps the typing experience nice and simple as well, but will connect to three devices simultaneously, just rotate the dial to specify which device you are typing on and off you go.
The Logitech Bluetooth keyboard K480 even acts as a dock for your iPad mini 4, snap one up for $36.79 on Amazon right now, but please keep an eye on it before you purchase, it regularly goes on sale for under $30.
I won’t spend much time on this one, most of us are familiar with the AmazonBasics line of low cost, decent quality devices. Despite the generic nature of most AmazonBasics hardware, this Bluetooth keyboard for iPad comes with iOS specific shortcut keys. Otherwise, just a simple keyboard to get you going.
With a folded size of just 5.8-inches by 3.5-inches at 0.7-inches thick, there are few keyboards more portable than the MoKo Aluminum folding Bluetooth Keyboard. Simply put, Apple has a great relationship with a number of manufacturers, as such, you can find a good selection of great keyboards right on their site. Not included are any actual Apple keyboards or any iPad mini 4 specific devices. While we are confident that most rough fitting iPad Mini, Mini 2 or Mini 3 keyboards will work on the iPad mini 4, please proceed with caution.
One of the best benefits of the iPad mini 4 being made of a metal shell is the fact that it is therefore magnetic. Apple utilizes this themselves to attach their smart cover and Logitech takes it to a new level. The Logitech Magnetic clip-on Keyboard admittedly was designed for earlier mini iPads, but does so with its own metal construction, looking to mirror your iPad in size and looks.
Equipped with two magnetic connectors, this Logitech keyboard acts as an adjustable stand with one layout and as a cover when connected to the other foldaway strip.

In one of the more practical designs for a productive iPad case, the JETech rotating Bluetooth keyboard case and stand offers everything in the name. A protective case acts as a multi-angle stand, including the ability to rotate your iPad Mini 4 into portrait mode, and a decent Bluetooth keyboard will help you get the most out of your work day. We would have liked to see a smart switch on this battery powered keyboard, but the manual power button is easily accessed, as are the handful of iOS shortcut keys.
