BeWeather HD v1.2 Update for BlackBerry PlayBook w/ Changelog
While the original release of BeWeather HD received a lukewarm response, the latest update has some significant visual changes, performance enhancements and more. We recently reached out to Bellshare for a list of changes. See the full changelog below.

I remember when the PlayBook came out last year, one of the first developers I went to was Bellshare. In hopes of a BeWeather app for PlayBook of course. Shortly down the road they had ported their Android app over but it was a very early build. What we have now with v1.2 is vastly improved from a year ago. And just because it’s running on the Android Player, this doesn’t mean Bellshare cut a bunch of corners. They’ve been optimizing this Android version to run well on both Android devices and through the PlayBook.
Much like the BlackBerry smartphone version this app is fully customizable. BeWeather icons, fonts, colors. Choose from various views whenever you launch the application. Weather Underground 7 day forecasts, right down to the hour. The animations really show what the Tablet OS 2.0.1 is capable of. Check out BeWeather HD for yourself below.
