BillGuard, a popular credit card and checking account monitoring service, has just released a rather significant update that makes grouping merchants and marking transactions even quicker. Even further, BillGuard will now let you dispute a merchant transaction directly within the app.
For those not familiar with BillGuard already, it's a great service that lets you link your credit and debit cards to the service for monitoring. You will be alerted of any suspicious activity as well as be able to view balances and transactions quickly and easily.
Previous versions of BillGuard required you to mark transactions individually. The updated version should get smarter as you use it and become familiar with merchants that you use frequently. Your transactions will then be grouped so you can dismiss multiple transactions in one swipe.
BillGuard allows you to monitor any two cards you'd like for free. For $45 a year you can monitor up to ten cards. If you are interested in more than ten cards, you can contact BillGuard sales for further pricing. BillGuard is one of our favorite Passbook compatible apps for iPhone due to the ease at which you can check account balances and update them while on the go.
If you try any of BillGuard's new features, let us know what you think in the comments! I've been using the BillGuard service itself for quite a while now and find it to be one of the best monitoring services available, especially for iPhone.
