First released in South Korea, and then in Japan, the LG Optimus G Pro is currently available only in white. But a black version is going to be on sale “very soon” – or at least that’s that LG Mobile’s official Facebook page suggests.
A full photo album showing the black Optimus G Pro has been posted on Facebook. This particular version is made for LG U+, South Korea’s third largest mobile carrier.
Unfortunately, LG doesn’t say if the black smartphone will be introduced in multiple markets or not (but that’s probably going to happen anyway).
Meanwhile, Android Central reports that the Optimus G Pro is now receiving the Value Pack update promised by LG last month – which includes features like Smart Video (videos are paused when the user isn’t looking at the screen), and Dual Camera.
The Optimus G Pro will be launched in the US, too, and it’s said that AT&T is going to be the first to sell it, possibly starting May. It remains to be seen if the second largest US carrier will have both the white and black versions of the handset.
More than 500,000 LG Optimus G Pro units have been sold in South Korea since its release there.
