This video proves that BlackBerry 10 can load webpages quicker than the iPhone 5
Back in December we heard about BlackBerry 10 beating the mobile pants off of Apples iPhone 5 by way of speed. During a little test performed by The Gadget Masters, loading time for webpages was faster than that of the iPhone 5.
We wanted to spark a conversation about this topic once more, as RIM's BB10 launch is quickly approaching. It's slated for Wednesday, Jan. 30 -- that's tomorrow, guys. And we wanna make sure that we're as prepared as possible to put the new BlackBerry devices through the wringer.
So let's take a quick look at how the folks over at The Gadget Masters performed their testing:
" ... Since the Dev Alpha B required a micro-SIM and I did not own one (only have a regular SIM) my intention was to run both smartphones from the Mobile Hotspot coming from a Bold 9900. Unfortunately, the iPhone 5 refused to connect to the Hotspot even though the password was definitely correct (must be a bug in iOS 6). Therefore, we improvised by having the Dev Alpha B run off Mobile Hotspot from the 9900, while the iPhone 5 was connected to the carrier."
Nothing too intense, but still a fair assessment for the time being. Check out the video below and let us know what you think.
