BLU Products, a company that has its headquarters in Florida, has announced two new products that sports “true octa-core mobile processing” thanks to its use of the MediaTek MT6592 SoC. The company might not be popular and isn’t a big player in the industry however it has been releasing several models with interesting specs that are affordable. Its latest models are the BLU Life 8 and the BLU Vivo IV Android smartphones.
BLU Vivo IV
Let’s start with the BLU Vivo IV. This is the 4th model in the company’s Vivo series that uses a 5-inch Super AMOLED display. Its body is almost entirely (98 percent) made of glass and aluminum making it have a premium feel. It is protected at the front and back with Corning Gorilla glass allowing it to withstand the rigors of everyday use. It’s also one of the thinnest smartphone available in the market measuring only 5.5mm thin.

This model is now available in the market and costs $299 unlocked.
BLU Life 8
The second device that the company announced is the BLU Life 8. This is the latest model in the company’s Life series that offers flagship performance yet is priced affordably. This model is 7.5mm thin and comes in several color options which obviously targets the younger generation. Some of thekey feature of this device are its 5-inch HD display, 8 mega pixel main camera plus 2 mega pixel front facing camera, and its Dual SIM Dual Active technology.
