We recently brought you news of some ICS development on the Samsung Galaxy Player 5. For those who don’t know, it was Samsung’s first five inch screen device. It appears as though devs aren’t done yet making ICS all it can be on the Galaxy Player 5, as most AOSP ICS ROMs are still riddled with issues. The most recent fix solves the issues with Bluetooth. And with the camera issue being a work in progress as well, it seems as though ICS will be running perfectly sooner rather than later.
The Bluetooth patch was posted by XDA Senior Member Supermaster34. To apply it, users must be running one of the compatible ROMs and flash the modification through a custom recovery. The list of compatible ROMs includes CM9 and derivative works.
There is still some work and testing to be done. In addition to the Bluetooth fix, Supermaster34 and others are working on fixing the camera issue as well. For more details, check out the original thread.
