It doesn’t matter what phone you use, one thing all mobile users have in common is the problem of running out of battery. Even with the best planning in the world there are moments when you need a recharge and you aren’t near a main socket. This problem is exasperated on today’s high specification smartphones as they have power hungry displays and processors. The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes with a fairly sizable 2800mAh battery, however there will still be times when you need to recharge on the move. To that end Brando has released a 4800mAh power jacket for the Galaxy S5.
A power jacket is a case and battery that charges your phone on the go while letting you continue to use it. When the phone battery is getting low, you snap the phone into the case/battery and the phone starts to recharge. The case has all the right holes for the camera etc, so that you can continue using your phone. In fact the power jacket only uses the USB 3.0 port which means that you can still connect up your phone to your PC if you need to do a data sync over a cable.
To round off the package there is also a flip cover, with a velvet interior, and a built-in stand. The power jacket, which comes in black or white, is available now for $38.
Do you like the idea of a power jacket for the S5? Will you get one?
