We have no idea how the LG G4 is doing in the market but according to an earlier report by Consumer Reports, the smartphone is No. 2 behind the not-so-old Samsung Galaxy S5 and is even better than the iPhone 6. This is based on a performance evaluation conducted by the said magazine.
The LG G4 could be doing well in the market because we've seen a number of G4 variants already. There's the LG G4 Beat mid-range phone and the rumored LG G4 Pro. A number of mobile carriers have already released the LG G4 in the United States and other countries but not without any issues. Remember T-Mobile and AT&T doing updates without user permission? We're not sure about Verizon but the Big Red has a new promo that is expected to entice those who've been wanting to purchase an LG G4.
For this month, LG is giving away a $100 LG Visa Prepaid Card to anyone who will purchase a G4 unit from Verizon. This promo is valid from August 1 to 12 only at www.verizonwireless.com or at select Verizon Wireless stores. To receive the rebate and free $100 worth of prepaid card, you need to register first at www.lgg4augustrebate.com. You can also submit via mail but it must be postmarked by the 31st of August.
LG has launched a separate website to include all details about this August promotion. Specifically, the Verizon LG G4 phones eligible for the promo are the genuine leather black version (VS986LD), metallic gray (VS986), and the ceramic white LG G4 (VS986W).
You can get an LG G4 from Verizon Wireless for only $22.91/month for 24 months, $199.99 under a two-year contract, or $549.99 if you can pay for the full price.
