Beme has been out for about a year, but only recently came to Android. Beme was created by popular YouTuber, Casey Neistat, and it’s a pretty interesting social platform. Beme was created as a way to share what’s going on, without users worrying about editing the video, or seeing exactly what they are sharing. It’s pretty simple. You place your phone on your chest and it starts recording, remove and it stops. Then it automatically uploads, and you’re all done. It’s quick, simple, and takes out the guess work of sharing video and such to the internet. There’s no preview nor a review of what you have just shot.
With Beme, you can also watch an endless feed of perspectives from all over the world. You’ll also find some pretty compelling people to follow and see what their world is like. Beme has also added a way for you to get a global view of how friends, family and interesting people live their lives. All without any editing involved, so you get raw footage of how their lives are lived.
In a recent update, Beme also added channels. So you can add your own Beme to channels and get discovered by even more users. A great way to expand your presence on the social media platform. Beme allows you to react to videos you see on Beme, and now you can press and hold the react button and send a video reaction. Making for a pretty great reaction.
Beme takes an all-new approach to social networking, and while it’s not the size of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram or even Snapchat, it is still fairly small. It’s also app-only, similar to Instagram. Not everyone likes Beme, as they like to see what they are posting before they post it, but it is a whole lot of fun. Beme is available now in the Google Play Store for free, and it already has around half a million downloads, on Android alone. So there is definitely plenty of people to follow on Beme right now, and there will be plenty more coming in the future.
