LAS VEGAS, USA – Asus launched three Zenfones in the affordable price range segment, as well as the Asus Padfone Mini. The devices all feature Intel Atom dual-core processors.
The Asus Zenfone 4, as the name suggests, has a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front-facing camera, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor and will be parked at a price of $99 in the international markets.
The Asus Zenfone 5 has a 5-inch 720p display along with pen touch and glove support, a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, an 8MP rear and 2MP front camera, and a price value of $149.
The Asus Zenfone 6 has a 6-inch display, a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, a 13MP primary and 2MP secondary camera, and a price quoted at $200.
All of the three Zenfones models are launched with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and will have Asus’s own Zen UI which allows users to quickly change the themes, a callback reminder feature, a daily agenda, among other functions.
In addition to the Zenfone series, Asus also announced a 4-inch smartphone named Padfone Mini, which can be joined to a 7-inch tablet dock. The Padfone Mini has a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor, 8GB of internal storage and a 800×480 pixel resolution. The smartphone is priced at $249 in the market.
