Rumor has it HTC could follow up the One (M8) with an M9 and M9 Prime starting early next year. We still don’t really know what to expect from the rumored smartphones, but one new concept design is giving us something to get excited about.
Created by Android blogger Jermaine Smit, the new video (below) imagines that HTC’s next flagship will be even sleeker and thinner than the One (M8). The design offers just the slightest bit of curve along the back panel, while the front is almost edge-to-edge screen with just the faintest hint of a bezel on either side. The concept also sees HTC ditch that Duo camera setup in back.
Smit also offers up some possible specs for the device, including a QHD 5.1-inch display, a next-gen Snapdragon 808 processor and 3GB of RAM. As for the cameras, this concept has HTC using a 2.9-Ultrapixel shooter up front and a 6-Ultrapixel camera in back.
Of course this is just a concept design, though it’s possible some of the ideas and specs presented here could make it into the official device. We’ll be keeping an eye out for any more news concerning the rumored M9, but until then you can check out the full concept video below.
