Huawei’s flagship Honor 7 smartphone was revealed in China not too long ago. The handset went up on pre-order in the region and to nobody’s surprise, it managed to break all records in terms of total pre-order figures. It was revealed by the company that the handset breached the 9 million mark within just a week of going on pre-order.
This is quite astonishing, even for a company like Huawei, as most companies can reach that figure only a couple of months after launch, and that’s being generous. We’ll reserve judgment for until Huawei offers sales details for the smartphone, but as of now, the device can be deemed a hit among fans. This is an important milestone for the company as the smartphone is all set for an unveiling in Europe, which is a very exciting prospect for the Chinese manufacturer.
The handset comes with a 5.2 inch 1080p display, a 20-megapixel camera on the back, an 8-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM, 16/64GB of storage variants, the home-grown Kirin 935 octa core SoC, Android 5.0 Lollipop and a 3,100 mAh battery. As you can probably see from the image above, the handset also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the back, which is a bonus for a device like this.
