The first Cortana beta for iPhone is now rolling out to testers ahead of its official App Store debut. This early version of the app has the ability to accept voice commands; helps schedule calendar events, reminders, and alarms; and tracks useful information.
Right now, the app is being made available to those who signed up to take part in the beta while Microsoft continues development of the app. When it’s stable and ready to make its public debut, Cortana will be available from the App Store.
Sadly, there’s no timeframe for that just yet, so those of us who weren’t chosen to take part will have to make do with the screenshots above for now, courtesy of WareNotice.
Just like the Windows 10 Mobile version, Cortana for iPhone works alongside your Windows 10 PC, so when you create reminders on one device, they’ll appear on the other. Cortana for iPhone can also help manage your schedule — and keep track of flights, package statuses, stocks, and more.
