Those with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet may be interested in knowing that a build of CyanogenMod 9 has come available. This version of CM9 is available for the Wi-Fi only version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and is built-on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Speaking in terms of this build, the news is coming by way of RootzWiki and it is noted as being “a completely unofficial kana of CyanogenMod 9.” In other words, this one is a download and flash at your own risk type of deal.
That being said, the RootzWiki post includes a link to both the ROM and also version 4.0.3 or the Gapps setup. Otherwise in terms of what to expect, it was noted that this in this build “there are no cherry-picks, extra unofficial features, or any of that what-not and what-have-you.” And lastly, it was specifically noted that HD video playback and Netflix are working and that the Camera and Voice Search are not working.
