Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin will be making its debut on current-gen consoles as well as last gen on April 7, but what kind of graphical improvements can fans of the original Dark Souls 2 expect? That’s exactly what DigitalFoundry looked to discover when they worked on their comparison video which compares the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 version of the game.
As you’d expect from a complete jump in console generation, the PS4 version looks much sharper, has better lighting, and a higher frame rate. In-game cut scenes also look to have been improved.
