One of the perks of not jumping onto the latest and shiniest toy around is that once you eventually decide to get it, let’s say six months down the road and after the hype has died down, you’ll be paying a fraction of the price that early adopters had to shell out. Never mind the rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S4 for now, the Galaxy S3 is here and it’s still the Android smartphone to beat.
For folks who still find the Galaxy S3 alluring, Amazon Wireless has some sweet deal on the AT&T variant of the phone.
If you’re a new AT&T subscriber, the Galaxy S3 can be yours for a mere $119.99. If you fancy the blue flavor of the Galaxy S3, be prepare to wait for 1 to 2 weeks for the phone to be shipped out, since it’s apparently in backordered status. Both the red and white variants, however, are in stock – and Amazon will ship it to you in 24 hours.
If you’re an existing AT&T customer and want to upgrade to the Galaxy S3, you will have to pay a bit more. The price for upgrader is set at $139.99. But hey, it’s better than paying for full price if you get it directly from the carrier.
