TAOYUAN, Taiwan – Sources allege that the HTC One+, codenamed HTC M8, will not have any capacitive buttons nor the “back” and the “home” button that was seen on the HTC One.
The camera will be improved to a 6MP or an 8MP unit that will come along with the new HTC ImageChip 3or Ultra Pixel technology. There are also rumors for a double lens on the HTC One+ for low and high lighting.
The battery could be boisterous with 2900mAh improved from the 2300mAh on HTC One, to ensure long operating hours on the device. The screen size for the HTC One+ may be uplifted by 0.3” to 5 inches.
The chipset is understood to be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 rather than the conventional Snapdragon 800. An additional update is that the HTC One+ will have a removable microSD card. Additionally, users could also see the latest HTC Sense 6 and Android 4.4 KitKat.
