In Mass Effect 3, you can give voice commands like "Switch weapon" or "Open" to open something. Unfortunately, Laidlaw didn't say more about the specific way in which Dragon Age: Inquisition will use voice commands.
Also in the interview, producer Cameron Lee revealed that BioWare is considering including second-screen support for Dragon Age: Inquisition through a SmartGlass experience.
"It needs to make sense, of course," Lee said. "But we want Inquisition to be an experience you can take with you everywhere--to work, the commute home, the living room, bed."
Dragon Age: Inquisition launches this fall for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. It remains to be seen if the game will make use of the PS4's unique features like the DualShock 4's touchpad.
