Verizon has a Motorola DROID event next Tuesday, October 27. Officially, that’s all we know right now. Dig a bit deeper into the leaked images and photos, however, and the announcements are a lot less foggy. Now, @Evleaks has published what appears to be a press image that reveals the DROID Turbo 2 and DROID MAXX 2 in various colors.
Earlier leaks published by @Evleaks have provided us closer looks at various functions. One showed us the DROID MAAXX 2 and its removable back, for example, which added to rumors suggesting the phone will sport a 5.5-inch 1080p display, a 21MP camera, 2GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 615 processor. (In other words, yes, perhaps a Verizon version of the Moto X Play.)
The DROID Turbo 2 — the three phones pictured on the left in the photo above — is expected to pack more flagship-worthy specs, including a Quad HD display and a Snapdragon 810 processor.
We don’t learn much from today’s leak, but we do get a clear look at both devices, and we can see the available launch colors for both devices in the image above. Keep in mind there should also be Moto Maker support for even more choices.
