I recently enjoyed an awesome Halloween app called Farkle Diced Halloween. It is a free app developed by Smartbox Games for anyone who likes to play Yahtzee. I have enjoyed this app and lose track of time while playing it. Yet another addicting game that is available for Android. It requires Android 2.1 or higher and the content rating is labeled for everyone.
This game has features that I like to look for when trying out games. The colors and graphics are bright and sharp. It even is cartoon looking and also has a quick response to my screen touches. The sound effects are your normal Halloween sounds, such as; scary creaking doors, screams in the night, a witch cackling, a cat’s meow rings in the darkness, the sound of bats wings flapping near, and random pain induced moans from the torture the person is experiencing.
When opening up the app choose the players tab, which is labeled player on the home screen. Your choices are how many players to have, the name of the players, and if you would like to play against the computer. If you opt to play with the computer you have 6 different characters to choose from; Grim Reaper, Frankenstein, Count Dracula, The Mummy, Bloody Mary, and Werewolf.
After you are done choosing these options you are ready to play! I already mentioned this, but it is just like Yahtzee. For those of you who haven’t played it or it has been a awhile here is a quick review on how to play.
How to play: Click on the green roll button and the game will let you know which dice are good to award points. You get six dice to roll and even after you have all six dice in line for points you can roll again and achieve even more points. If you take a risk and roll there is a chance for nothing to come up and then “FARKLE” comes across your screen and you lose a turn. If you decide that the points are enough and want to score just click the red Score it button.
When the game has ended you have a choice to share with friends via Facebook and Twitter, BUT to do this you will be prompted to download the below application.
