So you’re in the U.S. and clamoring to get your hands on a Samsung Galaxy S III, except there’s a little bit of a problem. We probably won’t see it on any U.S. carrier for a few months. Hopefully it won’t be like last year’s Galaxy S II when the first release in the U.S. didn’t take place until October. If you simply can’t wait, you still have a chance. It will cost you some dollars, but happiness is more important right?
You can grab an unlocked European version for around $695 and it will work on AT&T since it will have the 850 and/or 1900MHz bands needed. Online retailed, Negri Electronics is also showing it as having the 1700MHz band, which would allow it to work on T-Mobile as well.
