Evernote, creators of the Android note-taking app, have celebrated their acquisition of the popular photo editing programme Skitch with its launch on Android.
The Skitch app for Android smartphones allows users to edit photos with a variety of techniques, including a pencil tool and a highlighter so wry, observational humour is never more than a touch of a button away. There’s also an arrow tool to point directly to any hilarious real world happenings, as well as a typing box for adding text.
Photos can be shared via Facebook, Twitter, Gmail and pretty much any other social media app you have on your smartphone. Users with Evernote already installed on their Android will be gifted with a Send to Evernote button although you don’t need Evernote to run Skitch.
Skitch is free to download now form the Android Market and is expected to debut on iOS soon.
