GLOBAL – In partnership with PhoneRPT, graphic expert Mohammad Mahdi Azimi has rendered the HTC One (M7) based on every available leak and expectation.
The device is expected to become the flagship Android smartphone for the Taiwanese company, with an announcement occurring as soon as the 19th of February in New York and London, just before the Mobile World Congress 2013.
Code-named HTC M7, the handset may continue the use the HTC nomenclature for Android smartphones from 2012, and thus be simply named HTC One.
The design created by artist Mohammad Mahdi Azimi, exclusively for PhoneRPT, is based on the leaked image showing HTC CEO Peter Chou holding the HTC M7, as well as a more recent leak with the entire device revealed.
The specifications listed on the image are those expected to feature on the HTC One – Nvidia’s Tegra 4 as an upgrade to the previous use of the Tegra 3 chip, 2GB of RAM up to today’s standards, a 5″ full HD touchscreen display given the popularity of phablets, and of course, a 16 megapixel camera, given that the “Ultrapixel” rumour is quite a popular feature in reference to the HTC M7.
All but confirmed is the presence of HTC Sense 5.0 on top of Google Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The smartphone will be built to rival the likes of Sony Xperia Z and the future Samsung Galaxy S4, as HTC surely hopes to rejoin the global list of top five smartphone makers.
