The moment has finally arrived: we can now confirm the final design of the 2015 LG Nexus, what we have been calling the Nexus 5 (2015) for want of a better name since January. A trusted source has supplied AndroidPIT with the following image which shows the new Nexus by LG in its final form.
The image confirms previous leaks, showing a circular finger scanner mounted below a raised camera lens. On the left hand side sits a dual-LED flash and laser auto-focus module. As we have already noted, the new Nexus 5 will be priced at under US$400 but will not deliver camera performance as good as the LG G4.
The 2015 Nexus 5 will reportedly feature a 5.2-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 808 CPU, 3 GB of RAM, 2,700 mAh battery and USB Type-C. It will launch alongside Android 6.0 Marshmallow and the Huawei Nexus on September 29 at event in San Francisco.
Note: this is not a press render, we have straightened the image and omitted the background to protect our source.
