So far, all we’ve heard of regarding Far Cry 4‘s multiplayer modes is the cooperative stuff. The game will surely be fun to take on in co-op mode, but what about when it comes time to bring that pain to human opponents instead of NPCs?
Ubisoft has revealed the PvP in Far Cry 4 through a new trailer dubbed “Battles of Kyrat.”
Factions are split between armies, each with their own focus in either more supernatural combat or the traditional stuff. You’ll be able to ride in on elephants while summoning demon tigers, or you’ll boast a modern day arsenal that will wreak all sorts of havoc on your enemies.
Honestly, the PvP in the Far Cry franchise has been disappointing in each effort so far. If this game can capture the thrill of the solo and cooperative stuff in its PvP, that’s a huge upgrade over previous iterations.
We’ll have more on Far Cry 4 as it comes. The game is set to release on Nov. 18 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
