2016 could just be the year of smartphone explosions. It all started off with first few Xaiomi smartphones and then we saw the whole issue with Note 7 phablet and now continuing the trend we have yet another smartphone. And interestingly it is iPhone 7. Yes, the smartphone which is all over the news for many reasons will now be in the spotlight again and for quite some time.
Recently images of a fully burnt iPhone 7 have now surfaced online and it appears that the smartphone caught on fire due to some kind of explosion. It surfaced on Reddit where the owner of the device posted the image. Apparently, according to his claims, the device exploded and caught fire right inside the box itself. We are not sure about that yet but the device looks to be in a terrible condition as the explosion completely ripped the device apart.
As you can see from the images the screen is separated from the body due to the explosion impact. And as mentioned earlier, we are not sure if this is real as there are no other proof to support the claim. So we just have to wait and see what happens once the company starts digging into this. We just hope that this is not real and starts some other major issues just like the one with the Note 7 smartphone. However, it is too early to speculate about this as we don’t have much info on this.
As mentioned, we just have to wait for any official statement from the company on this. Meanwhile, if you own an iPhone 7 or an iPhone 7 Plus, then it is advised that you stay cautious about this issue and avoid using your device under high temperature. Stay tuned for more info on this as we will update soon once we have an official statement from the company.
