French courts denied Samsung's request to block sales of the iPhone 4S
A French court denied Samsung's attempt to ban sales of the iPhone 4S in France, according to Reuters. Apple and Samsung have been in the throes of legal battle over allegations that Samsung was "slavishly copying" Apple's iPhone and iPad designs.
Samsung claims that Apple's iPhone 4S copies design elements from its Galaxy S line of smartphones, which is mostly laughable because the design is identical to the iPhone 4 - Samsung didn't make similar allegations then.
The French court said that Samsung's allegations were out of line, and ordered the manufacturer to cover Apple's legal fees to the tune of $133,900.
Apple and Samsung are still attempting to sue and block each other's products in several other countries. The legal battle between the two seems to have no end in sight.
