Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a video camera app, one touch endless game, deluxe PDF manager, and private storage app. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
AfterCam ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A video camera app that continuously captures video, but doesn’t save anything until you tell it to. The app is designed so that you never miss a moment, but doesn’t use up all of the storage space on your device. You can pick what portions to save from the video capture, and take photos while recording.
Little Galaxy ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: At first glance, it looks like a high polished one touch endless jumping game, but surprisingly there’s more to it. The one touch endless set-up is there, but it’s fleshed out some more with an interesting mission layout system. The gameplay revolves around jumping between spinning planets, and you just time your tap to leap at the right moment to reach the next planet. As you advance, there are suns that add gravitational pull to contend with, and there are a number of other subtleties.
Private Calculator ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): A private storage location for your iOS device that can store photos, videos, documents, notes, and contacts. All of the private files are stored behind a calculator, so no one snooping on your device would know. There’s a simple UI, and multiple transfer options to add files to the app.
