Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a printer utility, movie editor, interactive kids app, and finance manager. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
PrintCentral ($4.99 -> Free, iPhone): A printing app that connects to all printers, not just AirPrint printers, with Network, WiFi, USB, and Bluetooth connected printers. The app also includes a deluxe file reader, and the app can connect with multiple apps to print the content using the “Open in” iOS protocol.
MovieSpirit ($6.99 -> Free, Universal): A movie editor app with a layered editor timeline allowing you to combine videos, photos, text, and transitions. The app also supports video in video effects, and it’s easy to insert slow and fast motion effects.
Dr. Panda’s Ice Cream Truck ($1.99 -> Free, Universal): Another interactive kids app in the Dr. Panda line, and this one emphasizes creativity with ice cream. Kids can create their own flavors with a blender, and then pile up scoops of ice cream with numerous toppings. The app then lets you serve the ice cream to animal customers.
Budget and expense tracking ($1.99 -> Free, iPhone): A finance manager that makes it easy to add in and keep track of your expenses by category, calendar, and budget views. You can see how your money is spent, and then set up budgets to try to reign in your spending. There’s also statistical reports and data export options.
