Today’s iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch free apps daily include a quick note taking app, flying adventure, wallpaper creator, and word game. A number of apps drop from paid to free on a daily basis*, and we pick the top four everyday, as many of the others aren’t worth your time even for free. Everyday we try to pick apps that are worth spending money on, but are now free to download, and here they are.
*Price drops are temporary, and usually last for just 24 hours, so be quick to download.
Quick Drafts ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): The app is all about writing down things quick whether it’s notes, errands, shopping list, or anything you want to jot down. The app also supports to-do lists, sharing, links, reminders, dropbox, evernote, and more. The app is all about quickness as the app launches to a blank page ready to type.
Blimp ($0.99 -> Free, iPhone): Blimp is a flying platformer where you pilot a blimp through ornate layouts, while dodging enemies, and obstacles. There are multiple worlds, and the ability to drop your own bombs on enemies.
Flowpaper ($0.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: The app lets you create your own wallpapers with just a few strokes of your finger. The app itself offers a drawing tool that lets you create flowing paintings with various spiral style brushes. Every line you draw flows from your fingertip, and radiates from that point as though you’re making a colorful mixture of fractals and spider webs. You can try to craft specific shapes, or simply randomly draw on screen.
W.E.L.D.E.R. ($2.99 -> Free, Universal) [Review]: A word game that combines crosswords and matching for a new game style. You’re given an 8 x 8 grid full of letter tiles, and you need to swap tiles to create words. As you advance you discover special tiles including bonuses, flames, and stones all with unique attributes. The main challenge is that you have a limited number of swaps available, and when you run out of swaps, it’s game over.
