September 10th is when Apple is expected to announce the new high-end iPhone 5S as well as the first ever low-end iPhone, dubbed iPhone 5C. Given the recent leaks, I’d say that Apple is truly waiting for that date to finally make the duo public. Today’s leak shows the low-end Apple iPhone 5C being tested at the company’s Pegatron plant in Shanghai.
The following quote was added to the caption:
“The low-end iPhone 5C to be launched for Chinese consumers in September doesn’t look much different than the Xiaomi Phone 2, right?”
Given the messy look, the image is likely taken of a smaller batch to assure quality throughout the production cycle.
Just a few more weeks until Apple will finally make the low-end iPhone official.
