Boy, we have seen that coming from a long distance. The Galaxy A9 pro is one hell of a smartphone that has specs very similar to the flagships such as the Galaxy S7 but costs considerably less. the phone has visited the certification standards such as Wi-Fi, FCC and Bluetooth in the past weeks and now Samsung has officially introduced it in Malaysia for a price of around $500.
That’s the official price. Expect it to be around $400 on the street.
As far as the specs are considered, the A9 pro comes with a gigantic 6.0inch 1080p screen like the Galaxy mega but this time with a beautiful full metal body. The processor is the powerful snapdragon 625 along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal memory. There is also the option for adding a microSD card if the user prefers. The back camera is the same one found in the last year’s Galaxy S6. The 16mp shooter is believed to take very good pictures and the front facing camera is optimized for taking that right selfie.
There is also the fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone and it is Samsung pay compatible.
Apart from that, the most striking feature in the phone is that mammoth 5000mAh battery that Samsung has put into the phone. If reports are to be believed, the phone could stay alive for whole 2 days on a single charge with this battery even though it has to power a big 6.0-inch display. That’s one hell of a battery Samsung has put in thanks to the new technology which allows more mAh to be crammed into less amount of space.
Samsung Malaysia website hasn’t officially listed the phone but the retail stores are already selling the units. This phone is also believed to come to other countries such as India, Spain, and brazil in the coming weeks.
