Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 7 next week during a press conference on August 2. If it follows the same strategy it did with the Galaxy S7, the phone may be available shortly thereafter. A new report out of The Netherlands might reveal the release date.
Android Planet says that it has evidence the Galaxy Note 7 will launch on August 16 in the Netherlands. If that date is correct, it’s likely that Samsung has plans to launch it at the same time in other markets, too, possibly in the U.S. and Europe. And if that’s the actual availability date, then we can presume that customers will be able to place orders shortly after the phone is announced, too.
Very exciting for Galaxy Note fans, who have typically had to wait until IFA at the beginning of September for the new Note launches. The leaked images above, which seem to show off the new device, certainly look enticing. We’ll know more next week.
