The upcoming Galaxy Note 8 could be going after the tracks of the Galaxy S8. The device is set to feature a large Infinity Display, very similar to the ones that Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have. Rumors also say that the device could get released in the late days of this year.
The Galaxy Note 8 will be a big happening for Samsung, following the last years failure with the Note 7. So, having an Infinity Display is truly a great feature, but we will see if everything else on the device will work fine.
Other reports claim that the Galaxy Note 8 will feature a large 6.3-inch display size. This is larger than the last years 5.7-inch display of the Note 7. It is also expected that the Note 8 could have 18:9 aspect ratio with a considerable 1440 x 2960 resolution. This resolution is already present on the Galaxy S8 lineup, so it wouldn’t surprise us that much.
Probably the biggest news about the Note 8 is the fingerprint sensor. It is rumored that it will be placed at the same display of the device, actually right underneath it. Many of the users though might not going to see this pretty fancy. Also, some of the users had it really awkward to reach the fingerprint sensor while it was on the back side of the device, right next to the camera. If the fingerprint sensor is placed on the same place as it is on the Galaxy S8, with having a larger screen like on the Note 8 it will be harder to press it. So, the solution of having the fingerprint sensor underneath the display might actually be a great idea.
Also, other rumors claim that the Note 8 could also feature a dual rear camera system. This will be new feature for Samsung for their smartphones, as this feature is previously seen on iPhone 7. The Note 8 could also be shipped and have full feature of the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Also, considering the fact that the Android O is set to be released in late summer, some versions of the Note 8 might be shipping with this Android version instead.
The release date, as well as the full specification of the device is not confirmed by Samsung yet. For an official announcement from them, we still have to wait.
