Galaxy Note 8 release date rumor points to it arriving sooner than we thought
Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note 8 in September to make up for the product gap left by its predecessor, reveals a new report published by DigiTimes.
It’s thought that the successful launch of the Galaxy Note Fan Edition last month encouraged the firm to bring the release of the Galaxy Note 8 forward.
This news comes shortly after The Bell caught wind that Samsung is preparing to take the wraps off the handset at an event that’ll be held on August 23.
Expected to sport a near-identical design to the Galaxy S8 Plus, the Galaxy Note 8 should feature a 6.3-inch Infinity Display, an Exynos 8895 processor and 6GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note 8 is also rumored to be Samsung’s first smartphone to ship with a dual-camera, which reportedly comprises of two 13-megapixel lenses — monochrome and RGB.
