Galaxy S6 is the next big thing from the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer and fans all over the world have a lot of expectation from Samsung.
Samsung some weeks back announced LPDDR4 memory units for mobile phones. These new RAM will boost performance at the same time save battery life. Today’s smartphones with fast processors and big screens consumes a lot of battery. So these modules will definitely help Samsung Galaxy S6 which is expected to have an Octa-core processor and 5 inch Super-AMOLED display.
The new mobile RAM will be more suited for 4k video recording and continuous shooting of 20MP or higher resolution images, thanks to its larger bandwidth. Samsung’s LPDDR4 has an I/O data rate of 3,200 Mbps, which is twice as much as the DDR3 RAM that’s used in desktop PCs
With these new memory and brand new 64 bit processor Samsung going to provide some groundbreaking benchmarks when it comes to smartphone performance.
