The Galaxy S7 has been one of the most leaked devices in the last couple of months. The company’s upcoming flagship has been leaking for quite a while now, and we’ve seen its alleged front panel surface a couple of days ago, along with the device’s alleged spec sheet, and a ton of various other details. Well, a new leak surfaced quite recently, and this time around we get to look at the phone’s alleged front panel once again, though this time around the panel gets compared to a couple of other front panels from Samsung’s previously released devices, read on.
If you take a look at the gallery down below, you’ll get to see the alleged Galaxy S7 front panel compared to the Galaxy S6’s and Note 5’s front panels in two separate images. Now, this front panel actually differs from the one that leaked a couple of days ago, the sensors are placed on the opposite side, and the home button is also significantly different. The physical home button on this alleged Galaxy S7 front panel actually resembles the one on the Galaxy S6 quite a bit, and the corners on the device seem to be squared off compared to the ones on the Galaxy S6. That being said, the display also seems to be bigger on the Galaxy S7 compared to its predecessor, which might mean that the 5.2-inch rumors we’ve seen recently might be spot on. Now, looking at the second image in the gallery, you’ll notice how much bigger the Galaxy Note 5 is compared to the Galaxy S7, judging by the front panel, of course.
Now, according to a number of leaks thus far, the Galaxy S7 is expected to sport a 5.2-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) Super AMOLED display, along with 4GB of RAM and various internal storage options. The device will quite probably arrive in both Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890 variants, and you can expect it to resemble the Galaxy S6 quite a bit. The phone will be made out of metal, and Samsung will quite probably release the ‘Edge’ variant as well, and according to recent rumors, we’ll see quite a few of Galaxy S7-branded devices out in the market this year. That is pretty much it, the Galaxy S7 is expected to be announced during Samsung’s MWC event in February, despite the fact some rumors have been claiming that it will launch this month.
